Multicultural Education ServicesA strong multicultural education policy exists in the school system – information is available through Multicultural Programs Office tel 02 9244 5324 Schools must ensure their curriculum provides multicultural knowledge, values and skills that will assist students in participation as citizens of a democratic multicultural society. An English as a Second Language (ESL) program is available in Primary and High school and Multicultural / ESL consultants provide assistance to schools in the development of teaching resources and multicultural education.
